Hello! - I’m Rachel
I’m a former GP, Executive Coach and specialist in Resilience at Work.
All my working life I have struggled with feeling overwhelmed and guilty that I couldn’t do everything that people asked me to do, working on the frontline whilst juggling a family and several different roles. After training as a coach, I discovered some tools which changed the way I approached my work, and realised that the only way to avoid burnout caused by overwhelm and an unmanageable workload, is to think differently about my to-do list, make some difficult choices about what I will prioritise and focus my precious time and energy only on what’s important. I put these tools together to form the Shapes Toolkit
Now I love what I do, I know exactly what’s on my to-do list and I’ve got comfortable with not doing it all – even if no-one else will.
Over the past few years, through live training, online courses the You Are Not A Frog podcast, I’ve shared The Shapes Toolkit with thousands of doctors and other busy people in high stake roles like healthcare.
